Science in the Field – Do you have questions or concerns about our food production system? Are you curious about the role of biotechnology in agriculture and what “GMO’s” are? How has technology changed agriculture and what does the future hold? There is a growing disconnect between consumers and producers that needs to be addressed. Join us for an open discussion on production agriculture and the role that science plays. There will be in class participation, examples and most importantly time for Q & A with our guest speaker, a local agronomist.
Class is $10 or $15 for couples. You can pay in advance via paypal or at the time of the class with cash, check or card. Class is held in the Board Room at The Creamery Arts Center at 411 S. Sherman Pkwy in Springfield.
